Where should I go?

Things to consider:

1. Fatdog won't fly
2. Mrs. Fatdog hates long roadtrips
3. Beach, take it or leave it. A pool is just fine with me
4. I hate touristy spots
5. Kinda want to bring Zeke the dog with us
6. We ain't rolling in the dough

At the moment, I'm thinking St. Augustine / Palm Coast, but am open to suggestions

You are picking the worst time for vacation most anywhere the prices are jacked up because of spring break starting for college students :-/ .

Example; 3 weeks ago we stayed at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells, WI and it was $130 pr night. That next week after we left the prices went up to $250 pr night with 2 night minimum :-O .

Good luck!

Sure, there are a lot of places to go in the Dells  . I might even come up for a dinner date or something  :-P ;-) . I'm only about 45 minutes from there.

Hey, Port St. Joe is only about 10 miles from Cape San Blas. That sounds like a two-fer to me. However, the question is... is there anything for kids to do?
