The weight and size surprised me. Very solid unit. I love bold analogue VU's. Its around the size of a JVC 838 or Sharp GF-9494.
There is another nice one for sale I noticed in Germany.

This 968 is made in Japan. Some of the Aiwa's are made in Singapore.
I've got my first M70 on the way and will be interested how they stack up against each other!
