My trhift "looker" call me last monday, and said have a Sanyo "G7" for sell, with handle and fully working (but real dirty), so, I decide to go in your house to see what him talk about...
When I come, see the C7 in the shelves and not a G7, so, I catch the mini and go home for some cleaning work, the pics are the box after cleaning up!

It´s a heavy (11,3Kg) and sound heavy too, not line in unfortunately, but great playing some old BDP tapes!!!

You're gonna dig this little unit. I have it's big brother the C9, which ford93 affectionately named "The Pitbull". I got Fatdog hooked and he got himself a C9 as well. I want to get a C7 one day to go with the C9. :-D

The C7 is powerful...The C9...ridiculous!

My C9:

Nice score! :w00t: Have you checked behind the back cable cover to see if there is a Phono/Line switch for the 'phono' input? My C4 has one. If so, you've got your line in! If not, the phono input MIGHT be set up for a ceramic phono cartridge; in which case you can use it as a line in for other things without frying anything.

I use a phono attenuator on mine and the little box just tucks in nicely inside the back cover

What model Northerner?!?!

Cheers...
From memory I think they're made by MCM. They seem to be available most places. It's just a little black box. I've got a few as they work perfectly and only cost about £10 :-D

Thanks for the props on the nickname but that credit goes to Juan (frod93) as I noted earlier. :-D

And I wish I could be congratulated for the C7, but Hardmen found the C7, I just showed my C9 for comparison. :-D

Is the C9 bigger than the C7? Looks exactly the same, except for the fine tuning knob on the upper left.

Basic components are the same size. C9 has larger speakers in larger enclosures. The C9 also has line out capability and about twice the power. (And weight! ) There are other minor differences but these are the biggest. :-)

Hmm.......I had this AKA that didn't have Line Out, but it did have the fine tuning knob. Wonder if it was C7 or C9
