Well, at this point in my hobby // career, I find it difficult to get new boxes without first making room. Also with the forever, no-end-in-sight state of our economic health, mindless and irresponsible purchase practices need to to be reined in.

So to keep having fun in this hobby, I find that the best way to keep those transactions moving is to make trades. The only cost to both parties is shipping but then again, we need to pay shipping on any purchases anyhow. Also, since we pay our own shipping costs, no gouging (my favorite). The key and trick is to be respectful and be reasonble. No easier way to offend someone by trying to make a stupid trade. If in doubt ask yourself: Would I make that trade if I was standing on the other side? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that no one in their right mind will trade you their fully working M90 for your partially working, cracked, and incomplete M70. You will ONLY serve to offend the other party.

So, I recommend, you take inventory, make some trades, and make some new friends! Just remember to be respectful and fair in the process. Final and most important tip: You need to give up something good, to get something good in return. SCREW eBay, PayPal and their high fees.

Good idea. I'm not sure about trading with everyone, but for the main boomboxery members, it sounds fun. :-)

Well, this could get interesting......... Except for Blu Fuz, no one has actually posted up any actual models or list of models they are willing to make available.

How about.............. take some time, sit down, make a list, and post them up here. Then we can compare lists, brainstorm, etc.

Maybe the list should be categorized like:

(1) cheap or almost free
(2) low priced stuff
(3) medium priced stuff
(4) sorta higher priced stuff
(5) grails only.

:hmmm:
BUT I predict...... boomboxery guys are too lazy to make such list, or find the task too mentally challenging :-O :-D ;-)

I agree norm trades are the way to go but when your on the other side and there are hardly any members in the uk its just impractical to think of trading..... sorry to be the thorn in your side....

It's well worth going to the trouble and expense for the right box, where ever you are.

You have my attention....... :-O :jawdrop:
Whatcha want to trade for it Joe??????? :hmmm: :hmmm: :-D

Oh skippy! You would be the best to trade with because we wouldn't have to ship any of them! Make a list of worthy trades that you have.

WEYLAND/YUTANI CORP, I have a OK 777z I might be willing to trade pending the shipping cost......

I also have a Sears LXI that skippy so graciously gave to me when I bought another box from him. This is a pretty good entry level box, and I would trade just about anything. This is going to be fun!
