Hmm, I don't know about that one. It is obviously a Frankenstein box with a mix of JVC and Victor parts. Original speakers are not polypropylene as stated. Speakers appear to have been repainted anyway. However, it has the "rare" yellow VUs. :p

Yeah saw that, I think I'd pay a little more get something a little more decent. (Prob had a good volume pot! Lol)

Yeah, little bit of a frankenstein M90 and the woofs are not originally that blue :thumbsdown: . The knobs look fishy too, maybe repainted or a replica tuner knob.....


But parts boxes were selling upwards of $300, so this would have been a good resto/rebuild boomer or a beach biatch for Ira :lol: :w00t:

You should have got it Blu, so you can stop using your nice m90 as damn picnic table :lol:

It's only an AM/FM model, maybe that's why it went for less than we're used to seeing. I would choose a version with all the SW bands over a standard 2 band tuner if I had the choice. The first thing I thought when viewing that auction was WOW, the blue speakers are so BLUE on that one, it must've been kept out of sunlight! Then I read that they'd been repainted.
