Man. I was a little freaked out about spending so much on mine... I guess it wasn't a bad decision after all! I couldn't sell mine unless I really really had to. I wanted one for so long.

I would really like to know who are the people spending so much on M90's...? :hmmm:
I happen to know that was a UK buyer...not me tho! It went to a Stereo2go member with deep pockets :)

One of these finished at a comparatively bargainous £400ish on eBay UK last night, it's not shewn in completed listings (no idea how), but it looked decent enough, among other recent LB spec M90s are sets that have made £1500, £1900 and £900, there's simply no need to shell out crazy money for examples that have no LW reception, it's like paying more for a car because it has the steering wheel on the left and the odo in Kilometres!
How are there none of these crazy buyers about when I sell things?

Totally iffy listing...seller was known to S2G and didn't complete the sale...have a look at the feedback....not good :(

I paid My maximum price for mine (less than that eBay one), but I'm extremely happy to finally have one.

Wow triple the price of mine.

Glad I got mine while the price was under $1000.

But nothing can beat the price when I bought my original for $200 & plus back in 83'.

Original for $200? OMG! That is awesome!

5 years ago or so I remember one Like new M90 went for approximately $360. I thought it was too much and didn't bid over $250. Big Mistake! I didn't realize price go this high. :sadno:

I bought mine last spring for a hair less than half that one went for. Trim has about the same number of dings, and the mic mixing knob is not original, but everything works. It had been listed for less than an hour.

Thanks go out again to Ira, whose keen eye for a rock bottom deal is the only reason I was able to score such a find. I always make it a point to check out eBay listings he posts here on Boomboxery, because you just never know.

Thanks again, Ira! Here's a great, big bromantic smacker on the forehead from me to you! :thankyou:

Everything that's been said about these is true to the best of my knowledge and I would not part with mine for the world. Fire, flood, famine, you name it. Just like Robert de Niro said in The Untouchables:

"A mans gotta have his enthusiasms."

I paid $850 for mine (my most expensive box) that happened to be in Sydney. It's an "LB" model which is the UK variant.
Needs deck repaired though and i'm not brave enough to take it on.
Still though it's a solid 8.5/10 so i'm happy.

Most probably know, but what the hey.

I got mine for $180 + $80 shipping after the auction ran for 7 days on epay, I was the high bidder. Found on the curb in the trash in New York. Showed up suprisingly clean for what I really thought I was getting. I knew it was missing 2 knobs and the tape deck wasn't working. Original antennas, battery door, and no real damage to note besides some dings and scratches.

The deck needed belts, cleaning, and alignment it worked good a dozen times or so but now is acting up again. I'm not too worried about it.

I eventually found both missing knobs for another $35  and Fatdog hooked me up with a cassette door label. It's a solid 6.5/10 I would say.
