I''ve been curious about this. See the two photos attached. Can anyone see the difference between the two apart from one having the woofer grille and the other not?

Red on the tuner dial as opposed to orange? Mines got orange on the tuner scale too.
It's definitely intended to be orange, and isn't faded.

Yes Rick! Has this been discussed before? Was there any explanation for it? Maybe Sanyo decided to just change colour during the production run? Personally i prefer the red...goes better along with the VU meters and red is faster right?

Orange is my favourite colour, so I'm happy with mine!

There's green accents on the .jp one from memory.

I know the BigBen has a bunch of different suffixes on the model numbers for different territories, maybe these accents are further ways to tell their denomination??
