Wonder how thick that unit is? They do actually have a cd playing lasonic model but its not that attractive. it's really thick in depth.
Someone here I think bought one off ebay, maybe they can share a pic.
I would imagine they are pretty rare.

I remember seeing that on the Lasonic site before they showed everyone what the i931 would look like. I love the look of the box! I would prefer one of these than the i931 if given a choice, IF they had made it.

with front loading cd maybe wasnt to pratical on this model.

talking about that, are there any boxes that load cds vertically?

( i dont think its a pratical / good idea, but are there any )

If its the CDX-931 you are speaking of, I have it. There definately are not too many of them. I only ever saw one show up on ebay after thinking for a long time that they were another "myth".
It has some light damage on the back which i need to get to eventually but I bought it anyway just because I was amazed to actually see that it was for real.. Its one of the ones I have not photoed yet. I will post new pics eventually of everything.

That CDX-931 is fresh!

However, I'm still waiting to find one the "Mackdaddy" versions of the TRC-931.

It appears to be a creme white with gold trim.

I always assumed the CDX must have awesome bass since it has so much air volume. Has anyone ever actually heard it?
