Pete that is sad to hear. There are just some things we can't prevent.

Be careful out there man. I work on a construction site and over the years have been over a quarter mile in the air.

I have had friends killed on the job through no fault of anyone as well.

Like you said live each day to the fullest. Be kind wherever you go regardless of your feelings at the moment. The silver lining, if you could cal it one, was that according to the video you posted, he left this world as a respected and kind individual.

It was the largest turn out in Department history as long as anyone could remember. 2500 people. I was a mess all day. God has him now. Thank for all the condolences.
