I met him when I first moved to Ky 8 years ago  Colen Lived down my street and came over alot, He was in 90% of my classes and now he's gone. It reminds me that anybody can go at anytime and every moment is special :-/ He was 19 like me. I will be going to both the viewing and funeral, and will be making a contribution to the Memorial costs. He'll be missed, I left work after I found out

I am so sorry to hear about this...and so young...

We never know when these incidents will happen. :-/ Our lives are not gauranteed for any length and all we can do is continue to pray to God and ask for His blessings to us for a long and prosperous life.

I will be praying for comfort for all who have been affected by this.

man its never easy loosing someone to tragic circumstances .
life is so fragile.
all one can do is try to honor the memory of those faithfully departed and hope there is a better place for all who have gone before .
in the last twenty years i have dealt with three suicides of people very close to me. my first love my mother and one of my best friends.

My condolences go out to his family and friends. I know how it is to lose someone close to you! The only thing you can do is be supportive of friends and family through the tough times!

i know how sad this is ,the same thing happened to me when i was young my best friend who i went to school with ,hung out with basically all through elementary and jr high school with was killed while riding his bicycle he was hit by a truck ,

I got a call in the middle of the night from his dad telling me he had been killed and asked me to be one of the pallbearers ,
at his funeral , I was so numb from all this ,it seemed like i was in the twilight zone ,so i know exactly how you must feel ,sorry for your loss man,

one thing about life is we get focused on what we want so much we don't even enjoy what we already have.

I'm really, really sorry to hear about your friend.

I lost a good friend way to early in his life last year as well... Floyd said it well, "numb" is the perfect word to describe how I felt for some time afterwards. (still feel that way on occasion....)

Please accept my heartfelt condolences as well...

Thanks all, it is really wierd, but numb is the perfect way to describe it :-/ the 26th of January will be bad too. My grandfather (I was like a clone of him) passed last year. I really had a bad x-mas because I recieved a gift that was meant for me specially from him, but he never sent it because he passed, but I got it this year, and it really made me cry. I feel better knowing that life goes on though, but it's not the same without those you love. I guess the worst part about death is that I can't talk to them, maybe through prayer but it's not the same because you can't hug them. In the end, I hope I will see all of my passed love ones though :-/ Most often than not, things are left unsaid, and that is a really hard thing to deal with.
