ok guys here is the follow up....i still have to find the right color to paint the grills and get them mint but over all im really happy the way this turned out here are the finished pics

You could look in 100,000 dumpsters and never find anything remotely good as that bolt box.
Shame you couldnt get it going but the hybred youve made is one of the best looking boxes ive seen

thanks again guys...im really excited ...i was really bummed that i could'nt find the grill cover color....well good news my son took the grill and went to a local hobby shop and found the closet match... it's perfect matches the grill 99.9% so any of you who have this bueatiful box the paint is tamiya color blue violet

I love this picture!! But, still that alarm square is throwing me off.. Maybe because the sticker is yellow, and everything else is blue/purple.. Please don't take it as hating, but constructive criticism.. Would it be possible to just use part of that purple square lense and insert it into that space pushed forward til it hit the glass..? That way you wouldn't have to cut a hole?
I think with that final addition it would be the cat's MEOW!!!! Again, just my opinion..
