well her is the update .....sorry to say she is dead :sad: :sad: .i tryed to power up buy bypassing the switch and still got nothing also someone was in here and the amp is definitly cooked ...so with that said i have decided to make my robin into the bolt box ...gonna do a little custom work and see how far i can take this project...im keeping the grills the tuner # strip also the tape counter that was broken on my robin every thing else is up for grabs...again i dont mind sharing with all of you so if anyone needs some parts shoot me a pm and i will try to get what every one needs just ask that they pay the shipping....thanks guys jimmy

still?? Is your Robin an Aka of the Bolt box?

they could fix that easy.
and fix the cassette and other things :-)

yea guys its really dead my guy who services all my radios also gave her last rights .. :sad: now he has done some miracles for me but with this diagnosis it's to far gone....however all the parts that i was able to salvage is gonna trans form my robin into the bolt box...her are the pics of all the salvage parts...and again if any one needs parts let me know the speakers are all ready taken but i have all the knobs the back is complete no cracks mostly all the electronics are junk but if someone needs i have

you got it ira...not shure if im gonna use the robin grills or the bolt box ones...but you got ths set i don't use ......they are both are in great shape :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

100% convert your Robin to the Bolt box :yes: . Even without the right tuner/alarm it looks great man.

I really wish i was able to save this one but it was really to far gone ...but in the end i guess its really workin out ...i was really never to crazy about my robins apperance just really didn't have much bling factor..... but now you couldn't pry it from my dead hands :lol: :lol: :lol: i have to do a graveyard shift tonight at work but tommorow i will finish my conversion .. also master blaster i shipped speakers to you tihs morning...again if anyone needs parts please let me know...thanks guys ...jimmy

Once that box has the bolts behind the grills I think it's one of the best examples of 80's boombox bling. :yes:
