Great tread. Will make some pictures on led tuner dials when get dark later. Will not take the pictures of VUs tho, because all my boomers are LED Here is a small LED from my everyday experience :

VU Stands for volume units.
Therefore they can be needle type or they can be LED

Oh yeah, you most definitely NEED that tripod! Haha! I used to take PLENTY pics like that tho...

The clearest pictures are with a tripod and the timer set so that when it snaps the pic, your hands aren't on the camera.
