That is surprisingly a real nice looking unit. Wonder how it sounds since Lennox Sound is a cheap brand of Boomboxes :hmmm:

There were the cheapo all in ones back in the day sans turntable. That being said, cheap is relevant compared to the crap coming out today. By no means was Lennox Sound going to compete with the likes of Pioneer, Sansui, Carver, McIntosh, Kenwood and the like. But, they do sound good for what they are and if you intend to use it to add sound to an extra room versus putting one of your collection in to risk damage by friend or relative...go for it.

That's just the type of thing I'd buy on condition and looks. I'd worry about the sound quality afterwards as that could - if it were necessary - be improved easily enough by some discreet modifications.
Love it!

Go for it!
Silver faces always had better quality.
It looks nice!
For $20 I would jump and reach for it.
Nice VU meters..lighted dials...
It is different and fun to have.

For 20 bucks and a short walk, I can't think of any reason to pass it up - even just to flip it on eBay and put $30-$40 in your pocket to fund the Boombox Habit.

If not, I'll check the place directly later. I know there's two second hand thrift stores where the google map is pointing to and just ask them :-D "HERE"S MY 20, GIVE IT ME"

this is the first image I've seen for this model ... I have one of these in the original packaging ... turntable, speakers , etc.

model number on box is Lennox Sound LS-70025S

Does anyone know where I could find info online for this unit?

Thanks in advance,
Ken
