Careful with the dub step. I think it could possibly damage a vintage Boombox. I mean some of those sounds are just so crazy a box with ancient surrounds might just cough them out. Then again what's the point in having something cool and not using it

I rather enjoy kicking some old school electro for bass - the 975 also does an amazing job with that.

OR according to the season - try a few Christmas classics by Bing Crosby or frank Sinatra...that nice warm bass is like candy to the ear

I have one of these now! Just need to get the volume pot fixed
or replaced.

There is no doubt Dub Step is OVER THE TOP. The first time I played it, I was actually surprised at how well the blasters "Liked it". Thankfully the surrounds on my speakers are good. Believe me, I was watching closely and listening.

One thing with the 975 is, she's kind of a rattle trap! When the serious lows kick in, the tape deck doors give a little buzz! Kinda like when the space shuttle takes off Everything is shaking under full power
