So, last night I'm at Temple Studio's working with the band on our next CD. Temple is owned my Cypress Hill :weed:

I had to bring the Lasonic 975 with me....well....just because!

After laying some tracks everyone stepped outside for a smoke and I popped the trunk pushed play and pulled out the blaster.

With in seconds our record producer Jeremy says, "Dude, I used to have one of those back in the 80's. But it was a Lasonic!" I said "This is a Lasonic." He said" "Bitchen, mine was all silver and chrome." I said, "Ahhhh, the TRC-920"

Right then he got all excited and said "THAT'S THE ONE I USED TO HAVE!"

I told him I would bring the 920 with me to the studio next week when we resume.

Below are two pictures from last night....

Dude, your producer will go crazy when you walk in with the 920. :-D

Yeah, I can't wait to take it in and show him! Who knows, he might be next to join the site here!

That's how it starts, that one moment when something triggers the memory.

That's exactly how it happened to me! Good Times!

Thanks guys, it's always fun to remind people of something positive in their lives. With out having a portable music player back as a young teen, I don't think I'd be in music today. It left such a strong presence on me. I guess it was the same for my producer!

I will try to get pictures next week with him and the 920

Just as a side note.....Last night while standing in the vocal booth I couldn't help but reflect on what the guys from Cypress Hill had told me, that they had bought Temple Studio's from Fleetwood Mac and that the Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath, Venom, Exodus and of course Fleetwood Mac among many others had recorded there.

It was kind of a Strange, Erie, Good feeling. Hard to explain. Very cool though.

I guess being a rock god has it's perks eh Chris?

Great pics, and in a legendary studio too, next session can I request a few pics of the recording gear?

Ooooooo, nice!

This place is a big facility with many isolated instrument rooms, a large drum room and separate vocal booth. There is a MASSIVE drum set owned by our engineer who is the drummer for the band Fear Factory. My drummer Mike will be using that kit to record on. It looks like something Alex Van Halen would be using. I think I counted 22 cymbals! Just Crazy!
