ok my buddy tj the trash man just called me and he is stopping by after work to drop off a lasonic he found on his trash route ,he already told me which model it is but i'm not going to get to excited until i see it all i can say is i have been wanting one for years as i had one as a teen ,i'm stoked in spite of myself damn tj is the best when it comes to saving boxes from the trash this is like the 10th one he got for me ,i will try to post pics and reveal the model of the box ,any guesses on which lasonic it might be ?.

In Wisconsin it is now illegal to throw electronics out in the trash. So if people want to follow the law they need to bring it to a "recycling center" that will make you pay for the privilege of saving the planet. I expect that more garage sales will have worthless electronics in them... and perhaps a few gems as well...

Box like this are found in trash in other countries.

Here in Brazil, real garbage are sell in "ebay like" sites for $200 or $300... ...if not more!!! :huh:

well i just got the box and it is indeed the l30k and its in very good condition and fully working only thing it needs is a cleaning and an antenna ,she sounds great and works perfectly and on top of that just kicked the ass of my trc 918 with ease :w00t: .

:agree: We have the same laws here. :'-(
Good for the environment? Maybe so but I hope it also means the boxes end up at the Thrifts or Garage Sales instead of the trash.
