I have season 1 on DVD and I just love the show overall.
Yes I've seen a few boomboxes on the show and just love the car
the music and of course I love the 80's!!
Bonnie is a beautiful tech to!!

I have to say I had a 79' Trans Am that I had from early 82' to late 83'.
I was driving a black Trans Am before there was a Knight Rider and I
always had a carload of girls with me all the time! God those were the
days!!! :surf:

I was kind of sad when they replaced Bonnie with April! :-O
Patricia McPherson brought style and personality that April didn't
quite have.
Yes April was very beautiful but just didn't have that special feel of the
car like Bonnie did.
BTW-I just watched the 2000 sequel movie and I was very
upset!! Devin getting killed, none of the girls and the original 83'
was dismantled but KITT was still alive with some help.
At least that was kind of cool-that new knight 4000'car sucked!

The 83' would have blown it away!!! :choco: :stereo:

Agree with you there. The new series sucked. Will give NBC some relief as they didn't have a viable GM product to go with at the time, resulting in the 'Stang being used.

Never saw that series,I was talking about the 2000 sequel movie
that they made later-its on the bonus disc of season 1 DVD.
I think it was made in the late 90's or 2000.
I couldn't even bring myself to watch that,no David,no Trans-Am no
watch!!

I had an Bright Red 82' Trans Am back in 86' and loved it. I always wanted a 79' Black n Gold TA. Who knows maybe someday. But any show that had TA's and other hot rods I watched. Smokey and the Bandit, Knight Rider, Dukes of Hazzard, etc....

We had an Air Force Pilot at My Air National Guard base that has an exact replica Knight Rider KITT car. Complete with moving red grill lights and custom molded dash board with all the gadgetry.

A few years ago I got my hands on all the original episodes of CHIPS. It was great to see them all again.

I may need to go back and see Night Rider one more time!

I love CHiPS!
I used to watch it after school, syndicated on TBS 68 (pre-cable), when TV's had knobs, were made of glass, and heavy.
Knight Rider, of course, was a loved staple.

When Night Rider was new and on TV, it was filmed by Universal Studio's only a few miles from where I grew up. We used to go on the Universal Studio's tour and they had the actual car used in the filming on display and we got to sit in it. I may have pictures of that some where! :w00t:
