This beauty is mine now! It's had a strip down, full bath treatment, and a service and it now rocks...loving it

In my humble opinion it's one of the best looking boxes out there. I also prefer these mid size boxes in general to the massive ones as they're much more practical and useable. After it's service it sounds great too...and there is a very noticeable difference between the 4 modes ie mono, stereo, enhanced, and biphonic.

But best of all I love the Millenium Falcon style tweeter covers!

Received this beautiful Aiwa TPR-990 for my part of the trade.
Medium size but heavy box in great condition. Rich punchy sound and high quality switch gear and finish. I ask you collectors....is there such a thing as a bad Aiwa? Sits nicely with my other mid size Aiwa's.

Yep...that's what makes it a good trade which we're both chuffed with...the Aiwa trumps the JVC on sound but I prefer the unsubtle more flashy look of the JVC...it's a win win in my book
