Hi, here is my best low cost addition to my collection.

10,- Euro i found this in a free insertion

The speaker foam are broken and a little color scratching on top and frontface.

I`found a speaker foam repairkit for 12,- Euro on the www. and now , the JVC PC-5 is a powerfull mini combo

The repair was not very difficult.
The most important one is suitable foam and a thorough cleaning. The glue may not be applied too thickly.

It's about the same size as it's sibling the PC55. MY PC55 weighs in at a whopping 31 Lbs. (approx. 14 Kg) w/o batteries

Hi Adam! I'm betting that they aren't as heavy.
The PC-5 otherwise known as The Quintet is 1 step below the PC-55!
I have the C & the JW I bought brand new on sale fir 599.00- regular
price 699.00.these are special.
I am eyeing one of these Globetrotter Boomboxes!!

ive just got a pc5,needed new foams but i went all out and fitted two mini kaboom speakers for now and it sounds awesome ive kept the originals though as i will look at getting new foams for them in the new year and eventually re-install the originals as i am totally against modded boxes as a rule just need to get the tuner fixed now
