Great find Jens! You hardly see these in Europe. Is it an European L version (does it exists??) or a JW version?

Yes, its the little brother of the M90! Ive put them next to each other for fun :-D

Tnx for the info Jens. I'm pretty sure now there isn't an European L version made. Have fun with the box dude, it sounds like a baby 90 too. It's a nice piece :)

The LB (UK) version would have worked in Europe too, as it has LW radio and a DIN - rather than RCA - I/O board for its aux connection. I can't say whether the LB would run at its best from 220V mains though I suspect that its 250V primary would manage on European 220V mains well enough.
There is an LB version in the catalogue.

Thanks John. Yes you will find the L and LB JVC boxes also in main land Europe. But I've never seen a M50 in the L or LB series. So I suspect they never sold them new in Europe. Mine is also a JW version and came from Asia. It's also switchable from 110/220/240.

But if there is a LB version in the catalogue, I must be wrong... Guys that have an M50, can you please check which version you have? :)

There, and the in/out board on the side. THe I/O board on the LB version uses DIN instead of RCA standard. W is World, hence its having both 220 and 250V settings.
