this is an awesome jvc and quite rare to find one with all the parts.

OK....what is happening here??? Is that a drawer for a portable CD (discman) to fit in?

I have never seen this!

So, 4 radio channels....2 cassette decks.....a CD Player....and I'm assuming Line In?

If you can't get it done with that....your doing it wrong!

Yes, line in for mp3, much power and bass! I wasn't expecting it being so good.

Does the CD player come out / detach?

Does the CD player run on it's own batteries? or run off the main unit?

I found one of these at the thrift store some time ago with the CD player in the slot
probably would not of picked it up if the CD was not there
still need to give it a look over
but the CD was not powering on last time I saw it.
It also has PHONO in for turntable I think.

TW5- YES, PHONO/CD/AUX- it's one slot, I used it for my laptop connection/ check it out again, maybe theres is some dust on slots that are connecting your cd player, if it's still not working, sell it to me, I will repair it and sell it to one of my friend, this is one of the greatest sounding boombox with a cd player

JVC....how can you go wrong

Yes, cd player is detached, it's runs of the main unit , you need a jvc battery holder to carry it around with you.

yes, it's fantastic and rare, and sound is very good

it's surprised me a lot. when I saw it in my country, and price wasn't high! I am using it everyday, it's connected to my laptop
