You've identifed your location in your profile as RO. It's important to state your location clearly so other members can determine if they can help you or not. Where is RO, Russia (Rostov?). Romania? It's unclear.

The JVC slider you mentioned has been obsolete forever. You won't be able to find these part new anymore. Here are your options:
  • Rebuild your slider yourself. There are many threads here that deal with how to rebuild them -- you'll have to use the search feature of the forum and spend time reading up. It's hard but not impossible, especially if you have the skills to remove the sliders yourself without damaging the PCB when separating it from the mainboard. If your slider is structurally sound, and the slide brushes have detached, you can typically reaffix them with superglue and superglue primer (for plastics). If the brushes have detached and lost, then you'll have to obtain new feelers to restore it. I do sell NOS new old stock Alps branded sliders. The resistor board is incorrect for your application but the internal feelers are identical. Those parts can be harvested from the new sliders to "fix" your broken one.
  • If your slider resistance board is damaged, perhaps due to a detached feeler scrubbing the board, then that is a shame, because the only way you'll be able to fix it is to find a used one. As these boomboxes are 45 years old, and these sliders are prone to failure even on fairly new examples, chances are the used ones are probably on their way out too. Your best bet in this case is to just bypass the balance feature since there isn't a really good reason to use the balance feature anyways. It really should be just left on the center position. If you are interested in bypassing it, see this thread here: https://www.boomboxery.com/forum/threads/jvc-rc-838-balance-issues.32630/
  • Send your slider to me and I can rebuild it for you provided the resistor board's integrity is still intact. However your location here becomes important. I have rebuild countless sliders for folks here, and most of the time, only the slider board is mailed to me. On the JVC RC-M70, removal of the slider board is not that difficult. On the RC 838, separating that board from the main PCB is a very difficult task and many people have damaged either the slider pcb or the main pcb in the process. However, shipping the entire boombox will increase the repair costs and the mailing costs these days are prohibitively expensive. There is no good answer to this dilemma.
  • Buy one of my NOS sliders and harvest the internal brushes to repair your own slider. This is only necessary if your original brushes are missing or damaged.
I have sent you a PM (private message). From there you can contact me directly if necessary.
