Have you noticed that items shipped by USPS are usually in better shape than items shipped by UPS? That's my experience, at least. I think UPS employees are, on average, a little younger than USPS employees, and are therefore more likely to act like punks and throw packages around.

USPS has done a really surprising job of capturing the Ebay business. Their prices are good, and they've improved their tracking capabilities.

The Crown 950, Victor M79, and my Lasonic 951 all damaged by USPS :-/
The Helix 4630 was FedEX (only had 2 boxes come from them)
Then a few others were broke from UPS

I can't win with any of these places :nonono:

That's because you didn't buy them from ME Blu.

Seriously, It's not the company -- it's the packing. In my experience, you pack them according to the guidelines offered by UPS and Fedex and magically, they arrive damage free. That means 2" of padding on all sizes, a firm carton, and contents tightly suspended without shifting around. Contrary to popular belief, foam peanuts work great at protecting fragile items but the problem is that most folks don't use strong firm cartons so they balloon out and the foam peanuts will naturally settle creating new voids. The loose nut in shell syndrome is a death knell.
