hi and welcome to the site the only thing i can tell you they are awesome sounding boxes and share a bit with radio shacks scr-8 mostly decks, back case and some other parts that i dont remember,,,but u got a cool looking box enjoy...

Great first box that's for sure only issue with these as well as SCR8 is decks having problems with this one piece that breaks rendering deck from playing. However it's repairable congrats!!!

The Blockbuster is a great boombox with very nice sound. It is one of the favorites in my collection. It was one of GE's top of the line boomboxes at the time and like others said shares lots of components and features with the scr8. The Blockbuster has different woofers and deeper bass than the scr8 but other than that sounds about the same. Here is a pic of mine...
