Just imagine if we were to mass produce these.

May be those failed to make 600HP plus gas Gobbler motors like we have these days on many cars on the street.
75 HP is nothing even though it had some torque.

You know having a fast car is cool but with roads and traffic today you can't have fun with it. As teens we use to race on archer avenue in Chicago and you had plenty of distance between each light. Now almost every block has a traffic light

that truck would be fun, I'd run it on old phone books.

I looked into this on a smaller scale a while ago, but even simple one cylinder stirling engines are
expensive. Perhaps the oil industry is keeping them off the market. they can be seen on ebay.

You ever wonder who makes millionaires out of inventors who threaten the cash cow? ;-)

Interesting they didn't say what the torque out put was.

If this could have stayed in development this could have been evolved to the point of putting out real horsepower numbers. Really sad!

Personally, I am so sick to death of the oil industry and they way they have done everything possible to squash any and all forms of propulsion. I just can't imagine that the internal combustion engine that requires OIL is the only way to move a vehicle. In the next few weeks Elon Musk (Tesla Automobiles) will have built the last few charging stations that will link the East and West coasts so you can drive an Electric car from coast to coast for FREE! Yes, FREE, you can charge your Tesla for free at the stations. The only reason big oil and other automotive companies haven't killed his company is because he is selling them his carbon credits so they can continue building their gas guzzlers and with the hundreds of millions of dollars he has made selling those carbon credits, he has built charging stations across the country at $500,000 each!

Like it or not, sooner than later affordable oil will be gone. It is estimated we have burned through HALF of all the oil in this planet and we have only been digging it out of the ground for a little over 100 years. Sooner or later we're going to have to adopt something else OTHER than oil and screw the greedy F%^&K$ that dig it out of the ground for us....which brings me to this....Oil, much like water, air, dirt and rock are part of this planet and do not belong to ANYONE. The very idea that someone is digging it up and selling it for a GROTESQUE profit should be offensive to everyone on this planet. Do we need it, Yep, but it belongs to EVERYONE, much like our oxygen. Would you let someone charge you a fee per breath you take? Dig it out of the ground, process it for what it is needed for and sell it AT COST!

:agree: 100%
Isn't it interesting, that we see scientists and the public protesting all this stuff and yet the politicians always go against the wishes of the people and side with the corporations. NEVER will you see ANY politician do what's good and right.

Unfortunately money talk to these bitches in the political world. You cut them a check with lots of zeros and there goes "patriotism" and " By the people, for the people" that this country was built by.

What we have is a bunch of 3 piece suit prostitutes. Its the me factor as usual in the political world.

I wonder if they do lap dances. :hmmm:
