you know i'm sitting here in the UK and just thinking that if it wasn't for the Internet, i would be : 1 not learning about ghetto blasters like we do : 2 not be able to buy them without knowing the good from the bad plus pictures

and number 3 which is most important - YOU LOT

it's strange to think that a lot of us on here have never met but all get along and there are times that members help each other out around the world in some way

my life would be less happy for not being able to people around that are into the same thing as me - boom boxes

so a big thank you for all being around and making this some times RATRACE of a life more enjoyable - being able to sit back and relax ~ read and look at pictures of boom boxes

so my life is better for being able to look at a good ghetto blaster and sit back and listen and enjoy life

Bendycat, I couldn't have said it better.

Maybe I escape into the past a little too much, reminiscing of the "Good Ol Days" when life was a little bit easier, but Boomboxes take me to a place I love and without this site, these people and their shared love of the same, I'm not sure what I would be doing right now!

It's just a great place, where I too have met many new friends.
We can all learn many new things each day whether it's about bbx's or life itself. It's an awesome feeling to have friends from many different country's and cultures and to be able to learn about boomers that were never even sold in the US...
I'm glad that I'm a member here and hope to be around for a long time!!'
