I'm speaking with my wife right now via Skype, she is in Okinawa and they are 10 minutes away from a projected Tsunami. Very scary stuff. Many area's around her have been evacuated. She is on the 2nd floor of a 9 story building. More to come!

She's one block from the ocean BUT she's on the far side of the island from where the Tsunami will hit. So that's a good thing. How ever, I'm going to knock out her daughter teeth when I go back in June. Her daughter left the house and went down into the street and my wife had to go get her...F'n teen agers! :annoyed:
But they are back in the house and watching out the window. I'm watching them on Skype. Damn stressful though!

Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa has yet to lift their Tsunami warning and are now saying that the time of the wave arrival is just an estimate and that a wave is indeed coming.

I just started watching the video footages coming from Japan and they are incredible especially the one roaring towards the coast.

the news has said all day - that tiese waves are moving as fast as JETS !!!!
like 400 or 500 MPH
but --now watching CNN --
and all 50 videos are showing it moving in SLOW --
like at 'normal' big wave speed
look more like 10 MPH
