I am happy to report that after 10 years of ownership, it's finally complete. A beautiful looking and working Gold C-100F survivor. The stereo MPX decoder and pilot signal for FM tuner was resolved. Radio now plays in stereo again. The dented grills were finally replaced and, while not an original trim piece, the lower cassette storage trim by member Caution, was tinted gold to finish out the radio appearance. It was the only missing piece. This wrapped the box and put a bow on it for me.
I am happy with it now and I plan to hang on to this one for many years.
