It was over a year ago I seen an Elephant on here, and realized I HAD TO HAVE ONE!!!
To me, it is the perfect looking boombox.. Dopest design I've ever seen!
Didn't think I would score one very easy, but one happened to pop up on Epay with a vague listing title..
Anyways, I won it and only took 6 days to get from Amsterdam to me in the USA!!! :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:
Very, very nice condition.. Wiped it down real quick and took a few pics! Just bought 8-brand NEW Energizers, as it is 220v only, and I have no step down converter..yet
The right antenna is not original, so I must find a suitable replacement.. Enjoy the quick pics, I will add more later..it is raining and gloomy outside right now, but we are shining bright inside!!

Absolutely stunning! And what you want is a "step up" transformer. It's what I use for my 220v boxes. :-D

Any that you would recommend? This is my only 220 box..
I would not say you need anything this strong, but here is what is on the 'Bay. You can also get them from Amazon, etc. You can probably find these at a Grainger or Tractor Supply too. It is a step up/step down transformer. The one I have is 200w which is plenty sufficient. What you don't want to get is one of those Radio Shack 40w travel jobs. They suck in a grand sort of way during high current draw. :-)

Yes, I need to make it to a Midwest Meet this year! I will also bring my Sharp GF-9000, my other rare one.. ;)

I still can't believe it only took 6 days to get here! I've waited longer for boxes to arrive from the West Coast!

Yes you sure need to come out for a meet one day. We will probably have one real soon ;-). I remember getting my Black AKA C126 from Korea in less than 3 days. Now that was awesome

It's SUPER COOL turning the tuning knob and seeing the digital number display changing rapidly to find a station instead of seeing a needle move across the scale.. Kind of like seeking stations on a car radio..?
and those LEDs!!
I haven't even messed with the timer/clock/sleep/wake up functions yet... and a digital tape counter?!?! :w00t:
