Its much too much. Its a nice looking box. But its worth max 200 to me. But if anyone wants to spend that much cause he wants it so bad, he should

Even with the box, forget it at $500 .


I did hear the bigger version of this boombox at baddboybill's place and I would probably throw $150 at it, but even then it still is a bummer that the speakers are only 4" but they try to fool you making them look bigger

The seller is only out to make a quick buck, he already took me for $1500 and I know of quite a few others who he ripped off..

YES. On another Forum, I didn't recognize the craigslist ad. But, knew his Ebay name from the other forum..

What happened with your transaction with him?

He was in the business of selling Vintage Aircraft Hydraulics on the other forum, had some good transactions but also some bad.
The item he sold me was "in working condition" but the unit I got was Dead On Arrival.. When I talked to him on the phone he "hooked it up" so I knew it worked, but that was not the item I received..
This was probably back in 2005, around the same time another member got taken..
Here is that buyer's quote:

Dealing with Rollin has been nothing but a f^@ked up experience and a winey chava of a person to deal with i got all my stuff as "promised" and in non working condition so whenever you need aircraft stuff PM Rollinaround,and tell him to "go f^@k yourself" ill never do buisness with him in the future.

That member even has a warning in his signature not to buy from Rollinaround..

The boombox is probably fine, looks like he never sold junk stuff on Ebay (to keep his 100% feedback)
