yipeeeeeeeeee -
at the 11 AM update -- 'they' shifted the forcast track --east - by 100 miles --
that makes a huge difference in wind speeds..

say about 50 mph --instead of 115 mph

us florida collectors have 3 possible storm outcomes for our boxes ::
1. damp
2. flodded
3. GONE !!!!!

Looks like a Cat 3 would be good to fly kites in.

Good luck with your Hurricane Ira.

They are still cleaning up after "TC YASI" north of here.

Looks like is is getting further East .....

hold all your bows --there is not alot of skill or expertise involved in missing these.. :hmmm:
:-D -- just 1/2 of a degree --( of 360 ) has moved the forecast away by 100 miles -

now its a 125 mph sustained wind prediction -
and that would have for 100 % certain --blown my trailer completely away...
--- understandable , is that
we fools who love to live by the sea --
can get NO $ insurance :-O :nonono:

so -- instead of a total loss -...
we may have 3 days of great surfing waves & great pix

boynton beach RULES !!! :angelic: :-D :-D :surf:

seriously --its a long , sad chore -

BEFORE it stars to rain and gets windy --
we put all the grails -- unwrapped in the bed of an open pickup truck -
then race over to the 'inland' storage building -
unload --and make as many return trips as it takes --
moving about 80 real nice // rare // almost impossible to replace ..grails
is no fun --
in fact --i wait till the very last second --in DENIAL -
before moving anything !!!

Hi Ira-Looks like it's going more to the east & maybe hitting the carolina's!
Hope this is the case for you but I feel for the boomboxes & people that might be in the path of this in the carolina's!

I like the cake!

Btw Nicole-I like Havarti cheese & windmills! :surf:
BUT do you wear wooden shoes! :-O :-P

What about the Swiss cheese? It's full of holes so the mice can get through easily! :-O :hmmm: :choco:

I hope that the states get spared from bad hurricane winds!
Have a good one-Jeff. :-)
