I was back in my hometown at my parents' over the holidays. I was pretty excited to see my little niece again
But also, I was on a little hunting trip
I had seen an ad in a local newspaper, someone was selling a "big cassette recorder". No brand, no details not even a price
Anyway, I called and asked. The guy said it had been in the basement for twenty or thirty years and was still there. He didn't remember what brand it was, only that it was big. If I wanted to come over he'd get it out and ready. I agreed and got in the car.
And when I got there I was pretty shocked by what I saw
I instantly said that I'd take it. He asked for 70€ saying "Yeah, it's very old but it is still working fine. Back then things were built to last." I totally agreed and happily paid the man.
And here is what I brought home: The JVC M90LM
