my special box day consists of usually taking my philips d8614 to the beach with my 3 kids and jammin out in the sun 
when we get sun that is 
failing that i get them down off the display shelfs and give them a dust and fire them up once a week, love it

International Boombox Day happens to be the same as my birthday so I will celebrate with a bbq in the backyard while jamming tunes on my favorite box...the JVC M70!

iv'e tried a few times on st2g along with other members to get a UK meet but it has'nt happenedHurb said:

I think a uk meet would be cool as the idea of a whole room full of boxes to have a go with sounds pretty good to me!!...only problem I see is I don't think theres many of us so we'd have to travel a fair way to get enough of us together and petrol ain't cheap
