Thanks
Though it's kind of sad to hear these are cheap and not that big.
There's a black one with silver tuner scale, mid and top section on ebay Germany which looks marvellous But 250€ BIN is waay too much http://www.ebay.de/itm/220968648738
i have exactly the same machine badged as a daewoo-having probs with the tuner on mine but ive been inside her and the dreaded cap disease looks to have set in-wierdly enough if i crank the volume and flick along the wave band i can just about get radio 1 only????ive said it before on other posts but i love this model.the looks, and even the sound are right on the money....and bendy they are quite big,man-emagine if you will an hitachi 8600 and youre not far off-a fraction bigger if anything-and surprisingly well made and heavy-mine has wierd factory applied decals in the back all in what i think is korean-because the daewoo was made in korea rather than say, japan.has anyone got an idea as to the date these were new?by the looks and build quality i would put it right at the first part of the 80s-81-83.bendy my old bike loving brother if you can catch one of these you should-sounds like prolly something like a gf8989 or perhaps a little better.see what you think
yeah mine is the daewoo rcs-902w....anyone else in boomboxland got the daewoo version?i agree with bp to some extent whereas the sound isnt massive on it i see it as pleasent enough for me,but i prefer the sound of something like my 9494 to it but the look of the daewoo/tokyo conqueror/brandt/emerson etc etc etc cant be ignored....its tasty
even if the sound was just ok i would grab the somebitch if i had a chance
i'm sure there's something that can improve the sound .
and replace those damn knobs and you got a killer conqueror .
