Hi Guys,
Out and about today with my kids Nicholas, Adam & Catie while my wife Jenny works her Saturday job. My eldest, Nick scored the winning goal in his under 10s soccer game this morning.
Been down to the local park at the end of the street this afternoon kicking the ball around (training). My younger boy, Adam is coming along well with his kicking game. My youngest, Catie is happy just annoying the hell out of her brothers by stealing the ball and running off!
My newly acquired TRK-8080W sounded really nice in the open. The Wide stereo mode actually works better outdoors. It sounds very effective at distances greater than 2 metres.
An old guy walking his dog came past and whilst looking at the Hitachi said: "That looks like an expensive radio". I was thinking it probably was in 1978!
These older mid size boomboxes are great when you are running down used batteries that won't keep up with the more powerful units. With only a 16W draw, nearly depleted cells run the 8080W just fine!!
Have a great weekend!
