I didn't know we weren't normal. 
I do believe we all, by nature, have to find something to keep our interests occupied. And if not boomboxes, it's going to be something else. But I've collected static items before and it gets boring fast. The boombox is a dynamic, maybe even interactive device that captures out interest far better than anything else. I say it's better to be collecting boomboxes to keep us busy than any series of far worse vices.

well well --
it sure is normal to love music
and to have a portable means to enjoy our music
and to want all that to have some quality sounds--
and then --even to have a variety of blasters --
for different outdoor purposes --
like party boxes such as a kaboom or a discolite-
or personal boxes like a mini or a middi
but ALL of us nutcases that have 50 or 100 and are STILL
compiling our 'wish lists'
are not , imho --very normal !!!!

Hi Ira-Yes I'm not normal-normal is boring! Love boomboxes-nice to have a variety!
So normal is not a word we ever use around here!!
