That actually 'looks' to be made of pretty high quality materials. It's definately rare to see a modern portable radio that actually looks like it's had some imagination put into it's design, and some skill put into it's construction. They could have made the woofer more attractive though, I don't think the all-over black 'goes'. It would benefit from a chrome dustcap, and a chrome trim round the outer edge of the woofer. IMO.
