I have often wondered what I would do if I won the lottery :hmmm:

What would you guys think if I was to go into the "For Sale" section and just started throwing money around if you would love me or hate me

I mean, if I posted a LIST of the blasters I want and am willing to pay TOP price would that piss people off?

Say I wanted an M90 or C100 and was willing to PAY YOU GOOD, would you step up and make my dreams come true or would you look at me like a total :dunce:

I have thought about this allot and came to the conclusion that if I did win the lottery, buying blasters at YOUR price would be a way to spread the money around to my favorite crew and still make my dreams come true.

Is there something wrong with that?

Your thoughts

Are you kidding, I think about winning the lottery EVERY DAY!! :-D

I would pay top dollar for a NIB JVC M90 if I had the cash, what newly rich boomboxer wouldn't?
If I was selling you, a lottery winner, one of your grail boxes, I sure would want to make sure it was a good one. For example, I would feel guilty, momentarily, for charging you a very reasonable $10,000 for my very average National RX-C45  (I've got one ready by the way - good luck with the next draw) :-D

When I think about this...DecentFool4U comes to mind, how he "out bids, just to win" and pay's big money for crap radios like an idiot. I wouldn't want to do that.

OK, the only thing left is to win the lottery...NBD :-D

For me winning the lottery wouldn't be so much about buying lots more radios (there'd be 4 or 5 I'd throw a lot of money at to finally get though).
It'd be more about me travelling around the planet meeting you guys and rockin my favourite radios in the cities they belong in.

That'd be my dream if money was no object.

I agree 10000%
Travelling the world, meeting cool people and do some blasting - that's the way to go.
Of course there are radios to spend a lot of cash for but I would probably even spend that cash if I didnt win the lottery and live of instant noodles for months

I wondered about this, too  And I basically agree with all shared opinions and thoughts!
I think I would use the money to import a lot of boxes from Japan - or fly there myself :breakdance:
Also I'd spend a lot of money to pay experts to get all my boxes running 100%

I agree with Rick,

But there is something more about winning the Lottery.
I think there is a possibility that, depending on the amount of money that you win in the Lottery you may start with
a much more expensive hobby, such as a collection of old cars or bikes etc., and slowly forget your old cheaper hobby - collecting of boomboxes.
I love my hobby and I love spending time with you here in the boomboxery :smooch:
So, I'm happy without winning the Lottery. :-)

I would do, what zippy said. Import some boxes from japan. To them, an m90, is junk. Old.

If I won the lottery, say $300 million like one of my fellow railroaders just won, I would host the first ever World Boombox Meet. I would rent a huge wearhouse for the event. I would fly in every member of Boomboxery who wanted to attend and all of there favorite boomers in hopes of having 1000 boomboxes for the event. This would be the end all be all meet of the century and would be something we would all never forget... :-D

Yeah, that's a hell of a plan....Fatdog has mentioned an International Boomboxery Meet. That would be mind blowing!

You guys think big....I love it.

If I won it, I'd want to build a bigger collection of C100F's than Gordie    :w00t:

At Melly's International Boomboxery Meet (which I LOVE),
have Run DMC, Grandmaster Flash, and all the Old School Hip Hop's Greatest playing LIVE for us!!!

Chris I would have no problem with you or many of the true collectors paying top dollar, there's a difference between hoarding and collecting something you love and appreciate.
