I think Ira uses them as stands for boomboxes on the beach so they do not get sandy...

to store boxes vertically (for whatever reason he has)

that i finally & truly ' hit-the-wall' in my 600 sq ft castle :'-( :'-(

ran totally out of space --

so - last nite - i made the 3" high spacers to fit under each bedpost --

with careful placement --
i can now slide 6 enormous grails or 28 minis ..
under the bed
