I don't get that whole droppy-pants fashion statement... I've seen guys who had to constantly grab hold their beltline or their pants would fall, or their pants safety-pinned to their t-shirt.
Seriously??? Are there really any girls or actual women out there that find that attractive???
While it's pretty sad that something this stupid can cause someone to get a cap in their a$$... it's pretty damn funy, too!

What's sad is that these idiots don't realize that's how one in lockdown who was designated a b*tch would have to wear their pants so whoever was 'pimpin' them could advertise who is available....

I always thought it's because in ghetto families the smaller boys got their clothes from their bigger brothers as soon as they grew out. So the larger pants you wore, the bigger brother you had.

Makes you wonder if a casual conversation about the history of that look would have converted those guys to wearing their pants normally???
The ironic part is that now the guy who shot them might have the chance to learn that first hand... But, if he was willing to shoot somebody over something so stupid, I doubt he'll let himself be made into anyone's bitch...

i dont know, i really prefer baggy fit before anything else, better than clown a§§ skinny fit, maybe its cause im socialized with 90s hiphop
anyway no need to pull it under the cheeks, just put it on it
i also heard the urban myth that they used to wear big pants and when they went to jail no belt was allowed cause of suicidal reasons and this led to sagging pants
maybe there are some more reasons, just watch "kids",
and one more, baggy pants and a big t, nobody knows u are armed or not
just my 2 cents

You're right about the jail thing and kids copying that look out in the street, but it's not about baggy pants - it's about the underwear showing and whatnot like docs said.
I remember seeing a kid on the bus about 3 weeks ago with his khakis basically hanging on his legs and pulling 'em up slightly as he was getting off. NOBODY - and older people people especially - shouldn't have to see that! :annoyed:
One of my things about that is, if you're out in the street walking around like that and cats decided to roll on you for who knows what, you're not gonna get very far.
Kids should be smart enough to know that at any given time, some sh!t could jump off... Why put yourself in a bad predicament in order to look cool? And who are they trying to look cool to?!?
That is one fashion trend/fad I can't wait to die! In fact, it should've played itself out a few years ago but some kids haven't gotten the memo yet!

anyway after three years selling garment in a hiphop store for a friend of mine, i just quit my job to do some real work again, im tired of youth trying to look cool, all over prints and all of the labels doing the same thing
