I think these 6 blasters would be all I need. I need to downsize. I think they would cover every situation I would need a blaster for.

1. M90
2. C100
3. TRC 975

4. M70

5. M50
6. GF 8989

I think these 6 boxes could cover any possible situation a blaster would be needed for. I think its self explanatory...but from the top down... it would be from main home stereo down to walkin through the park. From representin to the fullest..to listening to the game on the boat. Hevyweight to lightweight....Etc. Etc...
Thoughts?

Great list, some big hitters there to, im only missing, err, all of them!!!

That does look like it would cover most scenarios tho.

Nice list. I'm only lacking the M50. How's the sound on those?
That's the only one on the list I don't have or haven't heard. From what people have said its pretty good medium/small sized box.

For those of you that have an m50 or have heard one...what other boxes would you compare it to. Sound and size. Any comparo pics would be awesome.

Ive not heard the M50 either, it looks a little like a mini M90 but isn't that the M70's position?

I like your list, the 90 for the home stereo with the great quality, the c100 to make your ears bleed, ive never heard a 975 but they look good and if they sound as good or better than a 931 then it fully merits a place on the list
M70 needs no explanation as the mid-size king.
I know you like your 8989's but if that one is on the list as the lighter weight carry round box I would probably have my Aiwa cs600 or maybe my SCR-8 for that job.

Nicely done. I have never heard a single AIWA...but I hear that they are awesome.
The 8989 is truly an underrated boomer. Great sound, lightweight, 0 distortion at full volume. Total badass.

Haha I've had a line of 'I only need six or seven more boxes and my collection's complete' for the last year or so.. and many more than 'six or seven' have been added..

Then again, I always had the caveat of 'well, that's radios I have to have, theres a lot of others that'd be nice to have too'.

I know, rick...I suck. You're not the only one who's waiting on stuff from me. Good thing I give stuff away for free. Maybe I should actually charge people...then I'd be forced to ship it.
