I think I fried my i931 !

Anyone near north NJ good at fixing electronics? Like an idiot I was poking around in my i931 with a meter looking for an 8v source and I think I must have accidentally fried something near the power supply, as now it no longer powers up. I'm never tinkering again, lol

If your lucky its probably just a fuse.
also the power transformers have an internel fuse.
if you check the resistance at the prongs of the power cord.

I didn't see any fuses, or at least what I think would be a fuse.

Nope - I tried batteries and no luck.

Bill you can probably get parts right from Lasonic. The I931 is built like all electronics now a days where there are 4 -5 seperate boards that are plugged together. Replacing components is next to impossible Possibly where you were measuring you can take your other 931 apart and flip boards to see which is bad. Then you can get replacement from Lasonic. These are very easy to work on

There is a fuse under that circuit board mounted by the transformer. Check it.
