With all the forest fires going on out there, and people losing their homes... I can't help but wonder if my radio will make it out alive! :sadno:

I hope it works out. I'd be more concerned about the former owner having a house after shipping the box. :-/

YEAH!

Make sure you review this sucker after she arrives...

IMHO the best Lasonic they ever made, but I'm partial :-/ :-D

Well, this will be my 2nd Lasonic.. the 1st being a 931 that I sold this year...
I will be looking to purchase an antenna for this 920, because 1 of the tips is broken.. and also, the tuning string might be stuck or something because seller said tuning needle wouldn't move... I guess I'll find out! :hmmm:

My aunt & uncle live in Colorado Springs, but they are in Rome right now... so, they don't know if their home is in flames! :-O
The rest of my family is 1.5 hours north of there in Loveland/ Ft. Collins area where the forest fires were a couple weeks ago!

I had my eye on this one, too. It went for a reasonable price. Glad it was picked up by a true fan.

I figured some members here would be bidding on it too...
I'm really just looking for a great (sounding) midsize box to play my tapes that I can carry around pretty easily.. Hope this is it! :breakdance:

Looks can be deceiving, that blaster is POUNDED! But I absolutely love her.... Every scrape, chip and scratch is there because it is in HEAVY rotation. It really is one of my "Go To" boxes. If I know I'm gonna be at a party, where I know I'm going to have to work my way through a crowd and a Jumbo is going to be too much to handle....TRC-920!

LOTS of Volume, Great for out doors....

Of course, I'm the kind of guy that believes its not a party until the beers are flowing and people are having to get loud along with the music. If the music is loud and people have to yell over it a little, THEN ITS A PARTY! That's when people came alive

The 920 shines in this environment

Well, 2 weeks after I bought it on Epay.. it finally showed up, INTACT! Not burnt..
I will clean it up and inspect it more later today.. Did a quick test and radio works but tuner is stuck, and tapes plays but will need new belts because it wont FFWD or RWD and seems like the PLAY speed is a lil slow..
