This odd mono is called Universum Parabola 3800 in germany and is also known as Toshiba Actas RT-2800 in the rest of the world.
I always liked the look of this radio and finally snatched one of these buggers. It's missing the antenna-tip, but - and that's the rare part - came with the original parabola reflector! Another nice feature is the added mic
Not in perfect shape, but i like it's "used" look.The sound is not really a big surprise, nor a let down. But this unit has some nice little features and looks cool in its own way!
The previous owner had it since new - when i received it, it also included a hint of its true origin:
