I Hate the Post Office!

Why is it that almost every post office has some arrogant, condescending prick working behind the desk? It drives me insane sometimes. Went to pick up a package this morning. First I went to the package pickup window rang the bell at least 6 times, no response. I then proceed to stand in line a half hour only to be met by jerko the angry postal clerk. I hand him the slip then he replies "I can't go in the back to look right now everything is unorganized, you will have to come back in about an hour" so I reply are you kidding me, I just drove 15 miles to get here, what do you get paid 20 bucks an hour for? This seemed to anger him so he just brushed me off like i was a piece of trash. I flipped him the bird on the way out. Tracked down the manager after 10 minutes of asking other employees and finally got my box. Now I know why the postal service is in trouble.
Any of you have any frustrating stories at the post office?

I complained about an ignorant woman one time and then she was no longer there. They probably transferred her

We have the arrogant ones here too.
I think it is the rubber tiles on the floor, the vapors melt their brains after a while.
The new zombie fragranced floor mats come out this fall, so be prepared.

Still, I try to be polite, as I would prefer not to receive my rectangular packages in football form.

I have had horrible post office experience here where I live in Tn.
Your experience is tame compared to what I've had to go through. It's unfortunate,where I live they still hate people from the north! I'm from Mn.
There is just horrible corruption,nasty pricks and just ****ed up paid off people in this messed up county!! Not kidding!
So I stay away from the post office at all costs.
I'm surprised my bills get to their destination!:0
Sorry but you said post Office!! That's enough to get me started. BTW,of the very few boxes I've had come in damaged all have been from USPS.

prices for shipping radios is inflated at usps also. say for example they ask 38.00, fedex will ship the exact same package for 22.00 and pick it up at your door. the internet will eventually put them out of business cause hardly anyone buys stamps anymore.

the last time i used the post office there was an ogre working and she was the worst , ugly , rude , nasty,lazy,slow. it was like she was mad at the world because she was a hag . i just thought she was the most useless creature i have ever seen so i just bit my tongue and thought to myself anything that ugly should make up for it with personality but no such luck .

wow sounds bad floyd. if i was making what postal employees do i'd be happy as can be and try to help customers not be rude to them. they should try working for 10.50 an hour on graveyard shift like my last job, they would quit in a week!!
