Oh yeah :dunce:

It's an emachine 725-It has 3gb memory then about 2-350 GB storage, it does everything I need it to, Microsoft office, photoshop, Wireless web (FAST :w00t: ) And I think my parents landed it pretty cheap because my lame brother got one as well :-)

It's definitely an upgrade from one to another  My old one was a 98 Compaq that the US Gov't paid $3500 for at the time (my dad works for the Gov, and was in the army at the time) It was fast back then but now it's slower than setting a VCR clock without a manual. I'll bet your wife was as happy as could be  Good call-speaking of which I need to call about that Pc-5 :hmmm:

I know what you mean about a slow PC. My wife had an Averatec with an Athlon XP-M 2800 (1.6gHz)) processor running XP. It only supported 1gb max memory and had a 60gb hard drive. I got hr an Acer with an Athlon TC-20 (1.6gHz) 64bit processor with 3gb of memory running Windows 7 wit a 320gb hrad drive and ATI Radeon graphics processor. It also is HD ready and shows some of the most beautiful pictures yo could want to see in a movie. I had an Acer for business use before and they are definitely under rated here in the U.S. (Gateway,eMachines and Packard Bell are also Acer brands.)
