Hey Y'all!

I don't know where I've been in this great big world, but HOLY HELL! Why didn't I know about this LADY and why has EVERYONE put up with her going into seclusion so long ago??? Honestly, she is the SHIP! Someone HAS to FIGURE out a WAY to GET HER BACK OUT HERE!!!

Been listening to Betty Davis all funkin day...thanks for the tip Holly!! :)
AWESOME!!! I spent most of yesterday funken out to her. It's amazing to think of what artists were influenced by her. I guess Miles credited her with helping him explore psychedelic rock through meeting Jimmie Hendrix, Sly Stone, and others. It influenced him in some of his later jazz fusion projects. Even though they divorced after only one year of marriage, they stayed friends and he even had a photo of her on the cover of his album, Filles de Kilimanjaro. I've never listened to this album, so it looks like I have some homework!

:-D Amazon was the first name that came into my head as I'm not au fait with what's legal across the puddle and what isn't so I figured they were a safe bet. However I tend to use G-Tunes which provides music for free. Legally too, just don't expect me to explain the laws relating to mechanical copyright protection, Google wouldn't give us free tunage if it were illegal. Would they? :angelic:
So if I didn't have much Miles on record and R2R tape already, that's where I'd have found the album. His ex Mrs is represented there too.
