I'm pretty excited again! I decided to jump in this hobby in hopes of finding 2 or 3 boxes. This weekend I got both! Last night you guys said I did well on eBay getting the JVC M90. Tonite I won the other box that I set out to get when I won a C 100F. He had an extremely vague description. I had asked a lot of questions a week ago when he listed and was ignored. I waited a few days and emailed him again and wasn't answered. So I wasn't planning on bidding. Then only hours before the auction ended tonight, he responded with pretty decent answers to my questions. 1st off, here's the auction:

And then, here was his response to my questions:
Radio works and sounds great. both speakers work. lights work when you turn the unit on, not sure when else they are supposed to work. meters seem to work. Tape door works, but the tape doesn't seem to work (just makes a noise when you try to play/fwd/rev). i don't have a way to test the mic or aux
So, that being said and factoring in that he's paying the shipping - Let me have it good or bad! How did I do on my 2nd purchase?

Not too bad a price considering some of them still go for hundreds more. Let's hope it arrives safe and sound. Don't stop after your two or three boomboxes. There are still many great sounding units out there that you need to try.
