What ever happened with Johnny? I know there were a lot of questions as to how that all went down. Did his wife threaten to cut off his willie if he looked at another boombox?

I also heard from Johnny that he was getting rid of his collection to support his other hobby of go carts, but not sure how true that was :hmmm:

I've cut it way back and if I end up moving I may end up cutting even more. I gave away lots of boxes over the last few years. All of the big black lightweight three piecers were given away. Often when someone came by I would give them box . I'm at around 15 now. But there is tons of other vintage electronics here on shelves and in closets. I have a dozen vintage receivers on shelves in the front room that I rotate each month. I've also cut back my vintage synths as well. Keeping only the ones I use regularly .

I ve lost control  There re still more than 200. But i only wanna keep max. 30 - 40 in my favorite collection. No idea if most of em are fully working. For example i have tested my M-X920 and my BigBen and some other near mint looking boxes. After years of staying around they all had problems with the tape players and with the FM reception. Will start repairing all my favs, when the collection is sorted.   Boxes im always using: JVC RC-M90, Sanyo M-9994, Lasonic TRC-931, National RX-5350, .Sharp GF-575 + some minis

Mostly used in daily basis is Panny 5350 and DIY Boombox.

Cheers.
